Horace A. “Tee” Pierce, 86, a native and resident of Larose, La., died at 5:37 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2011.
Mr. Pierce was a member of the VFW and American Legion.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Eve Pierce; sons, Irvin (Deloria) and Johnny (Rose) Pierce; daughters, Diana (Louis Jr.) Lee and Debra (Wilton) Cheramie; brothers, Calvin and Nolan Pierce; sisters, Verna Gros and Rena Gautreaux; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Adele Pierce; daughter, Annie Pierce; brothers, E.J., Harry and Larry Pierce; sister, Dorothy Price; great-grandchild, Brodie Falgout; and step-great-grandchild, Kendall Cheramie.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, and 8 to 10:45 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano, La. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off, La., with burial at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
