September 30, 2011Houston J. Ledet Sr., 75, a native of Larose, La., and resident of Lockport, La., died at 3:40 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Ledet; sons, Houston Jr. (Janice), Terry (Darlene), Randy (Melanie), Malcolm (Wendy) and Craig (Robin) Ledet; sisters, Clara Gros and Betty Ordoyne; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Odesson and Emelda Ledet; son, Danny Ledet; brothers, Steven, Urie and Edward Ledet; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29 and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30 at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport with services to follow at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
