Huey “T.U.” Cressionie Sr., 79, a native of Gheens, La., and resident of Larose, La., died at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Trahan Cressionie; sons, Johnny, Huey Jr., Douglas Sr. and Carl Cressionie; daughters, Rebecca, Susan and Carol Cheramie, Wendy Gaudet and Mandy Trahan; brothers, Nolan, Sterry and Sterling Cressionie; sisters, Mary Cressionie, Ramona Gros and Effie Dufrene; 24 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Abby Cressionie and Hazel Rivet; one brother, Abby Cressionie Jr.; and one grandson, Terry Cheramie Jr.
He is buried at Gheens Presbyterian Church Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
