Huey P. Smith

Huey P. Smith, 72, a native of Franklin, La., and a resident of Patterson, La., died Tuesday, April 27, at 11:30 p.m. at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Smith was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of the American Legion and a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Huey is survived by his wife, Billie Joyce Augustine-Smith; sons, Kyle and Kenny Smith; daughters, Kim Marie Williams and Katrina Smith Thomas; brothers, Arthur, Edward and Hillaird Smith Jr.; sisters, Shirley Smith May, Mary Louise Smith and Delores; five grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

Mr. Smith is buried at the Patterson Mausoleum.
