Irene Richoux

Irene T. Richoux, 85, a native of Thibodaux, LA. and resident of Cut Off, LA., died at 10:45 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2007.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. Mass will be at noon Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Larry Richoux and wife, Judy, and Russell Richoux and wife, Shirley; two daughters, Lois R. Guidry and husband, Gerald, and Katy R. Arceneaux; one sister-in-law, Regina Usey; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Richoux; her parents, Adam and Josephine Plaisance Thibodaux; two sons, Roland and Dudley Richoux; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; five brothers, Oliver, Junius, Sylvester and Davis Usey and Joseph Thibodaux; and three sisters, Edna U. Rousell, Odile U. Benoit and Lucy T. Bouvier.

She was Catholic.
