Iris Joan Toups Bascle, 64, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Bourg, La., died at 5:45 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011.
She is survived by her husband, David Bascle; son, Corey (Angela) Toups; two grandchildren, Ashley and Cody Toups; one step-grandchild, Alexis Dubois; one great-grandchild, Darrien Raby; sister, Pat (Howard Jr.) Bellanger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Liless Toups Sr. and Esther Callais Toups Duplantis; two brothers, Benny and Liless Jr. Toups; and one sister, Geraldine Cheramie.
She is buried at St. Ann Cemetery. (Samart)
