Remember FIDO’s gift
December 23, 2009Irma Marie Savoie Illum, 90, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Mandeville, La., died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009.
Mrs. Illum was Roman Catholic and a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church of Bayou Blue.
She is survived by daughters, Carla (Dwight) Arpin and Francine (Gary) Oye; sister, Louise Clodio; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Illum; parents, Peter and Jennie Marcel Savoie; daughter, Trudy Ann Marcel; and brother, Dr. Issac Savoie.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday, Dec. 22, at St. Louis Catholic Church in Bayou Blue. Services will follow at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
She will be buried at St. Louis Catholic Church Cemetery in Bayou Blue.
