Local troops brace for life away from home
January 6, 2010Irvin Robertson Jr., 54, a native and resident of Gibson, La., died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009.
Mr. Robertson was Baptist.
He is survived by sisters, Roselyn Williams, Jonette Johnson and Deirdre Robertson; and brothers, Rogers, Bailey and Raymond (Penny) Robertson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin Sr. and Beatrice Robertson; sisters, Joyce and Melinda Robinson and Selena Woods; and grandparents, Selena Ross and Sidney Patrick Sr.
He is buried at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church in Gibson.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
