Public appeal issued in Terrebonne for elderly heat health

March 24, 2011Irvin Paul Saltzman, 73, a native of Kaplan, La., and resident of Bayou Pigeon, La., died at 6:45 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Gaudet Saltzman; sons, Billy (Shirley) and Brian (Dina) Saltzman; sister, Agnes (Jim) Jones; and three grandchildren, BJ, Brianna and Bethany Saltzman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Whitney and Edith Dartez Saltzman; and two brothers, Nelton and Ernest Saltzman.
He is interred at Belle River Cemetery. (Wilbert Funeral Home of Plaquemine, La.)
