Family Fun Fest has something for all ages

Isabelle “Billie” Toups Vauquelin, 98, a native of Houma and resident of Schriever, died at 2:28 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2007.
Visitation will be from noon to prayer service Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Prayer service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by one son, Wayne Vauquelin and wife, Marie Louise Richard Vauquelin, of Schriever; one daughter, Gwen Vauquelin LaCoste of Schriever; and five grandchildren, David Vauquelin, Christina LaCoste, Sabrina LaCoste, Keith Vauquelin and Jerri Ann Vauquelin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffery J. Vauquelin Sr.; her parents, Thomas J. Toups and Ida Duplantis Toups; one son, Jerry Vauquelin; and one sister, Delnot Moore.
She was a homemaker, a member of the American Legion and a parishioner of St. Bridget Catholic Church.
