Iver Guidry Gros, 87, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 9:44 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 2011.
She is survived by her sons, Warren (Henrietta), Byron (Tricia) and Dwayne Gros; daughters, Rosemary (James) Boudreaux, Judy (Andrew) Bourgeois and Melissa (Ronnie) Martino; brothers, Early and E.J. Guidry; sisters, Dorothy Caillouete and Laura Toups; 18 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Gros Sr.; parents, Laura and Sidney Guidry; son, Herman Gros Jr.; daughter, Catherine Trosclair; brothers, Lester, Sidney, Prosper and Clabert Guidry; sisters, Bessie Gaudet, Odette and Mabel Bergeron, Eloise Guidry and Edith Adams; and grandchildren, Rayle and Chantel Gros.
Burial was at St. Joseph Cemetery. (Thibodaux)
