Ivy May Jr., 86, a native of Gilbert, La., and resident of Franklin, La., died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013.
Mr. May was a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed fishing, working in his yard, helping his neighbors and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty May; children, Brenda (Curtis) Latiolais, Edwin (Mary) and Gary May and Sandra McLean; brother, Charles (Bonnie) May; sister, Cecile (Charles) Barkley; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivy Sr. and Almeda May; brothers, Cecil and Robert May; and sister, Pauline Smith. (Ibert’s)
