Flood protection to sediment boosts initiatives
November 21, 2011Jakarra Harris, 25, a native of Lafayette, La., and resident of Baldwin, La., died at 9:14 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011.
She is survived by her daughter, Gabrielle Harris; mother, Harriet Ceaser; brother, Darrell Harris; sisters, Tawanna, Quintiesha and Ashley Harris; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, at Moses Baptist Church in Sorrel, La., with services to follow. Burial will be at Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery in Baldwin. (Jones)
