Jalisa Inice Marie Chatman, 17, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Gray, La., died Wednesday, March 25.
She is survived by her parents, Julie Chatman and James; brother, Gilmore Chatman Jr. and fiance, Michele Calloway; sisters, Jowanda Gross and Jennifer Chatman; aunts, Joan (Cordell) Lyons and Lorraine Barber; and nephews, Stephon, Stephen, Jovohn, Trevohn and Derrion
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Eunice and Owen Butler Sr.; nephew, Johnny Barber Jr.; and uncle, Oneil Butler.
She was a Methodist and a senior at H.L. Bourgeois High School.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, March 30, at Community Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, at Magnolia United Methodist Church with burial at Halfway Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
