James D. “Tattoo” Pellegrin Sr., a lifelong resident of Chauvin, La., and Upper Little Caillou, La., died Friday, July 4.
He is survived by his son, James Pellegrin II and wife, Angel; grandsons, Beau and Jake Pellegrin; great-grandson, Keegan Pellegrin, and Chad Pellegrin, one grandson, Lance Naquin, two granddaughters, Candice Naquin and Destine Pellegrin and one great-grandson, Lance Naquin Jr.; one daughter, Lenette Thibodeaux and husband, Mark, two grandsons, Jordan and Shae Paul Thibodeaux, one granddaughter, Bethany Thibodeaux, and one great-grandson, Jayden Michael Thibodeaux; one brother, Terry Pellegrin and wife, Shirley, of Maryland; and one sister, Carolyn Dupre and husband, Wayne, of Houma, La.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fay Paul Pellegrin and Virginia Pellegrin; one brother, Kenneth Pellegrin; and his grandparents, Lucien and Helene Pellegrin.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, July 14, at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel with a memorial service to follow.
