James Franklin Drury, 81, a native of Fox, Ok., and a resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 5:10 a.m.
He is survived by his former wife, Peggy Kellar Drury of Houma; three sons, David L. Drury and wife, Beth, of Houma, Kurt S. Drury of Panama, Fl., and Gregory J. Drury and wife, Raye, of Lafayette, La.; one daughter, Carol E. Bonvillain and husband, Chris, of Houma; one sister, Geraldine A. Bennett of Galveston, Tx.; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse F. Drury and Agnes M. Holliday Drury; one brother, Charles E. Drury; and one sister, Camella Cox.
He was a retired drilling fluids engineer and a U.S. Navy veteran during World War II and the Korean War.
Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at Chauvin Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow.
