Janice A. Hartman, 62, a native of Larose, La. and Lockport, La. died Thursday, October 11, 2007.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald Hartman; her father, Anthony Adams; one son, Michael Hartman and his wife Christine; two daughters, Maria Turner and her husband Brent and Kristin Hartman; one brother, Wayne Adams; one sister, Janine Falgout; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Eloise Adams.
Janice was devout Catholic and a parishioner Holy Savoir Catholic Church. She was member of the Dominican Laiety, the Renew Prayer Group, Ladies Alter Society, and taught CDD for 25 years. She was a founder of the Children’s Liturgy to Holy Savoir Catholic Church.
Visitation is Saturday, October 13, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. She will be buried in the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
