Janice Marie Babin, 65, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Bourg, La., died Saturday, August 1, at 3:28 a.m.
She is survived by her mother, Alicia B. Babin; one niece, Wendi Lirette; two nephews, Jeff and Timmy Pflieger; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles
She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Joseph Babin Sr.; three sisters, Karin Babin, Kay Babin and Cheryl B. Pflieger; and one brother, Lester J. Babin Jr.
She was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations for masses or the charity of your choice.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, August 3, at St. Ann Catholic Church with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
