Jason Mitchell Borne Sr., 43, a native of Rayne, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, April 20, at 8:55 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Arsenaux Borne of Houma; his parents, John Borne Sr. and Wilda DeJean Borne of Houma; son, Jason M. Borne Jr. of Houma; daughter, Grace Adele Borne of Houma; brothers, John Borne Jr. and wife Jody, Michael Borne and wife Diana and Preston Borne and wife Luci, of Houma; sisters, Mona Smith and Danielle Pellegrin and husband Keith of Houma.
He was a certified inspector with Smith International. He was a loving husband and father and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His favorite pastime was sports and music. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
He was buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
