December 28, 2010Jeanette Marie Domangue Blanchard, 76, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 7:45 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010.
Mrs. Blanchard was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Virgis A. Blanchard; sons, Kerry (Cindy Duet) and Keith Blanchard; daughters, Kathie (Mack Jr.) Rodrigue, Cindy (Donald) Larpenter, and Mary Catherine Blanchard; 11 grandchildren, Jonah, Korey and Eden Blanchard, Julie’ Bascle, Tiffany Belanger, Sadie Boudreaux, Katie Larpenter, Kaitlyn and Sara Voclain, and Christian and Gaven Lambert; six great-grandchildren, Hunter, Jayce and Aleigha Blanchard, Anna-Claire and Caleb Bascle, and Seth Belanger; sisters, Joyce Doiron and Harriet Ibanez; and son-in-law, Curtis Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Sr. and Hilda Guidry Domangue; daughter, Cheryl Blanchard Taylor; grandchildren, Amanda Larpenter and Kori Jean Blanchard; brother, Harold Domangue Jr.; daughter-in-law, Lenore Blanchard.
The family would like to thank Dr. Jules Dupont, Julie Rhodes and staff, Hospice of South Louisiana and Staff, all of their family and friends for their continued love and support.
She is buried at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
