Jeanette Marie Brady, 70, a native of Morgan City, La., and resident of Berwick, La., died at 2:15 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2011.
Mrs. Brady was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. A heart of gold for all that knew her and the family rock that held her family together. She was known for her big meals she prepared to spend time with her family and friends. Heaven has received a special angel today. Our hearts will always be filled with love because of you. We pray The Lord’s prayer to honor you this day.
She is survived by her husband, Tyrone Brady; mother, Genevieve Spell; son, Michael Brady; brothers, Ruben “Dewey” (Joy) Spell and Johnny (Silvia) Carter; sister-in-law, Joann (Tom) Swanson; sisters, Delores (Ronnie) Dupont, Veronica Spell, Elmira (Joe) Percle and Leola “Tot” Christensen; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents (who raised her), Joseph Milton and Elda Carter; two sons, Irvin Boyd Voisin Jr. and Ray Brady; two sisters, Carolyn Gilley and Helen “Scat” Scadalock; and four brothers, Michael Spell, and Bert, Russel and Kenneth Carter. (Samart)
