Jeanette Theresa Lirette Viteaux, 75, a native of Chauvin, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Oct. 10.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Joseph Robert Viteaux; three sons, Bobby M. and wife Barbra Testreot Viteaux of Keller, Texas, Randall J. and wife Anne Fanguy Viteaux of Houma, and Mark H. and wife Janet Guidry Viteaux of Houma; three granddaughters, Courtney Elize Viteaux Byles and husband LCpl. Brandon Byles of Quantico, Va., Abbey Elizabeth Viteaux of Houma and Caroline Megan Viteaux of Keller; one grandson, Colin Michael Viteaux of Keller; and one brother, Merlin J. Lirette of Chauvin.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Sandra Ann and Sharon Lee Viteaux; parents, Edward A and Vivian Picou Lirette; three sisters, Sylvia L. Naquin, Clara L. Foret and Vivian L. Pellegrin; and two brothers, Elward J. and Howard J. Lirette.

Gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Russell Henry and staff, Dr. Thomas Donner and staff, the staff of Terrebonne Homecare and the staff of Hospice of South Louisiana.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery.
