Jeannetta Chaisson Lyons, 72, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died Friday, March 13, at 6:30 a.m.
She is survived by her husband, Jaral Lyons Sr.; sons, Jaral Lyons Jr., Jerome Lyons Sr. and wife Pam, Joel Lyons Sr. and wife Missy, Jacob Lyons Sr. and wife Dena, John Lyons Sr. and wife Mavis, and Jack Lyons and companion Stacy; brothers, Eddie Chaisson and wife Brenda, and Ernest J. Chaisson; sisters, Caroline Johnson and husband Norman, Irna Dupre and husband Alton, Jenny Lee Domangue and husband Ray, and Irene Falgout and husband Clarence; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Aceline Chaisson; and daughter, Jill Lyons.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, March 16, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, La., and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with burial at the church cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
