Jeffery Chiasson

Jeffery J. Chiasson, 65, a native and resident of Lockport, La., died Saturday, September 22, 2007, at 8:30 a.m.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Folse Chiasson; three daughters, Della Quatrevingt and her husband Hebert, Ella Hackworth and her husband Michael and Rebecca Cheramie and her husband Joey; seven grandchildren, Colby Quatrevingt, Rusty, Hanna, and Lanie Hackworth, Kacey, Kiley, and Kristy Cheramie; one sister, Janet Chiasson; and two brothers, Johnny Chiasson and his wife Gertie and Jimmy Chiasson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Octave and Lynda Boudreaux Chiasson.

Jeffery was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Holy Savoir Catholic Church.

Visitation is Tuesday, September 25, 2007, from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday, September 26, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport, with the funeral to follow at Holy Savoir Catholic Church in Lockport. She will be buried in the church cemetery.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
