Jennie Antoinette Duplantis Bergeron, 87, a native of Sunrise Plantation, Bayou Dularge, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, March 22, 2011.
Mrs. Bergeron was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons, Glen (Linda) and Rev. Michael Bergeron; daughters, Janet LaCoste and Sheryl (Joseph) Fuerst; brother, Valmore Duplantis Jr.; six grandchildren, Keith Pellegrin, Tommy Mullins, Lisa Wilson, Catherine Marciante, Patrick Fuerst and Justin Fuerst; 10 great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Aurelien Bergeron; parents, Valmore Sr. and Cora Josephine Babin Duplantis; three brothers, Ivy, Joseph and Sidney Duplantis; four sisters, Agnes Hebert, Lou Leonard, Doris Colwart and Marie Matherne; and one grandchild, Sandra Ann Mullins Guillot.
She is buried at St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
