Financial woes, strict standards plague SLLD
October 26, 2010Jerelean “Jerre” Duplantis Babin, 72, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010.
She is survived by her sons, Hugh (Debra) and David Babin; daughter, Rosanna (Lincoln “Cookie” Griffin Jr.) Babin; brother, Joseph Duplantis Jr.; sisters, Velma Pellegrin and Judy Booker; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Duplantis Sr. and Eula Guilliot Robicheaux; and brother, Edven Robicheaux.
Service will be held at a later date.
