Jerome Adams, 54, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Tuesday, September 9.


He is survived by his mother, Emma Ingram Adams of Thibodaux; two sisters, Evelyn Adams of Phoenix, Az., and Terry Williams and husband Donald of Thibodaux; and two brothers, Ernest Adams of Kenner, La., and Philip Adams of Thibodaux.


He was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Adams Jr.; and grandparents, Mason Sr. and Jenny Ingram.

He was Baptist. His hobbies included working on cars and watching sports on television.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 17, at Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland, La. with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at Young Ladies Benevolent Cemetery in Raceland.

Kennedy Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
