October 18, 2012Jerrin Jerome Bourgeois, 81, a resident of Morgan City, La., died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012.
Mr. Bourgeois was best known as “Bourgeois the Clown”. He brought many smiles to young and old as he escorted Mardi Gras Parades, made balloon animals, visited children in the hospital, put on shows at the library and worked at the Lake Cinema Theater.
He is survived by his son, John Bourgeois; sister, Mary Fontenot; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Abel and Marie Bourgeois; son, James Bourgeois; and one great-granddaughter.
Burial was at Morgan City Cemetery. (Twin City)
