Jerry J. Blanchard, 67, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011.
Mr. Blanchard worked at M&L Industries for 37 years. He was a parishioner of New Life Fellowship.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Blanchard; son, Jerry Blanchard Jr.; daughters, Cherie Boudreaux, Tammy Degruise, Tanya Gautreaux and Maria Marcel; brothers, Virgis and Kenneth Blanchard; sisters, Darlene Amos and Bernadette Pitre; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Edna Blanchard; and sisters, Nearlie Smallwood and Geraldine Donaldson. (Falgout)
