Jessie James Trahan, 54, a native and resident of Chauvin, La. died Sunday, October 21, 2007, at 3:30 a.m.
He is survived by his son, Bengiman “Bengi” Trahan; one daughter, Jessica Lynn Trahan; one stepdaughter, Gloria Voisin; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death, Harriet Robichaux Trahan; his parents, Jessie L. and Maybell Landry Trahan; two brothers, J.C. and Charles Trahan; and one sister, Irene Trahan Blanchard.
Visitation is Wednesday, October 24, 2007, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 a.m. and Thursday, October 25, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Chauvin Knights of Columbus Hall, with the funeral to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. He will be buried in the church cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
