Jimmie John Davidson, 82, a native of Abbeville, La., and resident of Lockport, La., died Wednesday, April 23, 2014.
Mr. Davidson was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a member of American Legion Post 83 in Lockport. He was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lucy Davidson; son, David Davidson; daughters, Donna Chauvin, Linda Ellis and Mary, Sandy and Amy Davidson; sister, Gloria Vadallier; half-sister, Hazel Strickland; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jimmie Davidson; daughter, Kelly Davidson; parents, Felix and Lydia Davidson; brother, Oris Davidson; and half-brother, Percy Breaux.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, at Holy Savior Catholic Church with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
