Joan Aucoin Bolotte, 87, a resident of Napoleonville, La., died Wednesday, June 3.


She is survived by her husband, Howard Philip Bolotte; children, Jerilyn B. Carrier and husband Dubby, Joan Faye Molbert and husband John, Dr. Charles Bolotte and wife Debi, Jeffrey Bolotte and Claire B. Vila and husband Dr. Hector Vila; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Alphonse and Lollie Martin Aucoin; sister, Marion A. Stephenson; brothers, Alfred and Martin Aucoin; and grandmother, Vivian Martin Melancon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Bayou Region P.O. Box 9200 Houma, La., 70361.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Napoleonville with mass to follow. Burial will be at St. Philomena Cemetery.

Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
