Joan Duvernay Stricker, 76, a native of Galves, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died Thursday, September 6, 2007, at 4:45 a.m.
She is survived by two brothers, Marvin Duvernay and wife, Roberta, and Alton Duvernay and wife, Lynne; two sisters, Edna Christopher and Jane Price and husband, Don; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel Francis and Alice Carmel Lund Duvernay; and three brothers, Noel, Hilton and Leo Duvernay.
Visitation is Tuesday, September 11, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Raceland.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
