Jo Ann Jones, 57, a native of Assumption Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, May 13, 2011.
Mrs. Jones was Baptist.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharhonda Coleman and Carenda Gilton; brothers, Rev. Lloyd Jr., Gordon and Richard Jones; sisters, EmmaJean Wade, Yvonne Williams, Yvette Porter, Virgie Davis and Jane Campbell; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Sr. and Naomi Jones; son, Samuel Thomas; sister, Joyce Barrio; grandparents, Ruth Godfrey and Joseph Akiens; and nephew, Richard Jones Jr.
She is buried at St. John Baptist Church Cemetery. (Kennedy)
