Gov.’s wife joins effort to build Gray Habitat home

May 20, 2010Joel Anthony Hebert Sr., 73, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Gray, La., died at 10:40 a.m. May 14, 2010.
Mr. Hebert is survived by his wife, Elsie Charpentier Hebert; sons, Joel Jr. (Connie) and Barry (Becky) Hebert; daughters, Paula Hebert, Amy (Burt) Plaisance and Kristy (Terren) Fabre; brother, Stephen Hebert; sisters, Ella Mae Guidry, Gloria Porche and Shirley Fanguy; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He is buried at St. Louis Cemetery in Bayou Blue.
