John Ansel Brady, Jr., 70, a native of Baton Rouge, La., and a resident of Larose, La., died Wednesday, August 13, at 1:30 p.m.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Clara Belle Callais Brady; mother, Irene Landry Brady; sons, John Ansel Brady, III and wife Gina Nigrinis Brady, Thomas Anthony Brady and wife Naomi Ougel Brady, and Joseph Abdon Brady and wife Jolie Collins Brady; daughter, Bonnie Brady Babin and husband Lonny Babin; brother, James Patrick “Pat” Brady; sister, Tanya Brady Ditto; grandchildren, Luke and Claire Babin, John “Jack” IV, Charles, Hunter, Thomas Jr., Bailey, Elli and Joey Belle Brady; and step-grandchildren, Morgan Vizier and Seth Robichaux.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Ansel Brady, Sr.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose.
Because he was so generous in life, the family prayerfully requests in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to Friends of the Rosary or Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, P.O. Box 10, Larose, La., 70373.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, August 18, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church will mass to follow. He will be buried at the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
