Thibodaux church finds its place after 10-year expansion

John C. Price Sr., 64, a native of San Francisco, Calif., and resident of Houma, La., died at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam War. He retired after 24 years of service for the Houma Police Dept. He was a member of the Houma Jay Cees and the Fraternal of Police and a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church in Houma.


He is survived by his wife, Virga Woodall Price; son, John C. Price II; daughters, Cristy Price Domingue, April Michelle Price, Laurie Ann Price and Heidi Hebert; stepdaughters, Christy and Wendy Billiot; brother, Nicholas Price; sisters, Annie Price Savoie, Elaine Price Padgett and Roberta Price Bradfield; four grandchildren, Blake, Hunter, Kerrigan and Alannah; six stepgrandchildren, Zachary, Phillip, Coby, Rilyn and Victoria; one nephew, James Peter; and eight nieces, Lacy, Monique, Heather, Maymie, Betty, Crystal, Sherri and Stephanie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elward J. and Mildred Chambers Price; and grandparents, Nicholas and Roberta Maymie Hipp, and Avery and Annie Hutchinson Price.
