John “Johnny” “Tot” J. Totina, 57, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, Sept. 13.
He is survived by his father, Anthony “Tony” Totina; one brother, Mark Anthony Totina; one sister, Dianne Totina Pitre and husband Steward Paul Pitre; one godchild, Katie Pitre; one nephew, Wesley Pitre and wife Dawn; and one great niece, Claire Pitre.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Mae Papa Totina; and grandparents, John and Lealua Totina, and Vincent and Justine Papa.
He was a music educator and dedicated professional musician. He will be missed by numerous close friends and family.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Landry’s Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of the arrangements.
