John Lewis Jr., 64, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Lake Charles, La., died Saturday, July 16, 2011.
Mr. Lewis was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was Methodist.
He is survived by his mother Doretha Lewis; stepmother, Susanna Lewis; aunt, Doris Kane; sisters, Inez Green, Leona (Lionel) Trench, Daigon Streams and Lillie (Lawrence) Skinner; and brother, Christopher Lewis.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Lewis Sr.; brother, Charles Lewis; and grandparents, Lilly and Christopher Lewis and Inez and Edward Kane.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, July 25, at Allen Chapel AME Church in Thibodaux with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Kennedy)
