Sheriff’s ranges give public a new target
March 11, 2010John L. Overstreet Sr., a native of Pascagoula, Miss., and resident of Houma, La., died at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Ediana A. Billiot Overstreet; stepson, Elmo Bascle III; stepdaughters, Lynn Bascle, Donna Besson and Tiffiney Duplantis; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Doris Parker Overstreet; and stepson, Timothy Paul Bascle Sr.
Mr. Overstreet’s funeral service will be held at a later date.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
