John Paul Tabor, 92, a native and resident of Choctaw, La., died at Saturday, August 11, 2007, at 1:00 a.m.
He is survived by one son, Rodney Tabor Sr. and his wife Elizabeth; four daughters, Estella Tabor, Rosalie Thibodaux and her husband Joseph, Velma Molaison and her husband Vincent, and Judy Ordoyne; two sisters, Una Delatte and Rosa Delatte; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elise Cortez Tabor; his parents, Marcel John Tabor and Pauline Marie Benoit Tabor; two daughters, Leona Tabor and Dora Tabor; five brothers, Edward, Ruben, Elfer, Elphege and Emile Tabor; two sisters, Rita Hebert and Lilly Delatte; one grandchild, V.J. Molaison; and two great-grandchildren, Joshua Tabor and Lindsey Melancon.
She is buried in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
