Johnny P. Folse, 90, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Sunday, Aug. 16, at 6:10 p.m.
He is survived by one son, Glenn J. Folse; four grandchildren, Gerald Folse, Nicole Pinell, Elizabeth Folse and Shawn Folse; and two great-grandchildren, Alicia Pinell and Macie Pinell.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elma T. Folse; parents, Nelson and Clemence Z. Folse; one son, Gary P. Folse; three brothers, Villier, Anatole and Dennis Folse; and three sisters, Rita Royster, Lena Foret and Heloise DeJean.
He was retired from Lafourche Life Insurance Company after 40 years of service. He was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland where he was an usher for 50 years.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
