Johnny “John” J. Pertuit III, 64, a native and resident of Raceland, La. died Monday, October 29, 2007, at 7:09 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Vernice Q. Pertuit; his mother, Lois Dupre Pertuit; three sons, John Pertuit IV and his wife Angela, Dwayne M. Pertuit and his companion Kim, and Corey J. Pertuit and his wife Eugenia; two brothers, Wayne Pertuit and Allen Pertuit; four sisters, Carolyn Vegas, Laura Pertuit, Linda Autin, and Ann Pertuit; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Pertuit, Jr.
Johnny was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church.
He is buried in St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church Cemetery in Raceland.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
