Joseph Aucoin, 72, a native of Lake Charles, La., and resident of Valentine, La., died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Hebert Aucoin; sons, Edward (Michele) Aucoin and Alvin (Tammy Price) Hebert; brother, Wilson Aucoin; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Louisiana Higginbottom Aucoin; two brothers, Allen and Leslie Aucoin; and four sisters, Taah Mott, Clarice Theriot, Alida Courville and Mary Jane Aucoin.
He is buried at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery.
