Joseph Etienne Philip, 81, a native and resident of Vacherie, La., died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011.
Mr. Philip was a retired construction worker.
He is survived by his daughters, Lana and Ella Philip; stepchildren, Hazel Scott, Veronica Zenon, Marie Growe, Phyllis Clay, Lawrence and Sidell Armant; four sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is buried at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. (Williams and Southall)
