Joyce Marie Chauvin, 70, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Chauvin, La., died Tuesday, July 2, 2013.
She is survived by her husband, Milfred Chauvin; daughter, Shelley Chauvin; brother, Wilson Porticer; sister, Mary Guidry; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cyrus and Annette Porticer; and stepfather, Wilson Porticer.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 6, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at church cemetery. (Samart
