April 21, 2011Juanita Duplantis Green, 79, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Tennessee died Tuesday, April 12, 2011
She is survived by her son, Michael Green; daughters, Paula Green, Cindy Slaughter and Becky Pettis; six grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; five brothers; and three sisters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard E. Green; parents, Joseph Sr. and Edith Luke Duplantis; son, Chester “Chet” Green; and one sister.
She is buried at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. (Chauvin)
