Judy Chaisson Navarre, 73, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph “Sonny” Navarre; son, Rick (Renee’) Davis; daughter, Donna (Pat) McCann; sister, Norma (Gene) Rizzo; stepson, Stephen (Cheri) Navarre; stepdaughter, Zoe (Mark) Oswald; seven grandchildren, Natalie and Richard Davis, and Laura, Lindsey, Luke, Leslie and Lee St. Pierre; four step-grandchildren, Amber McCann, Michael and Laura Navarre, and Justin (Jessica) Chaisson; and three step-great-grandchildren, Aiden Navarre, and Emma and Madeline Chaisson.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Davis; parents, Milton and Norma Bazet Chaisson; and two brothers, Dr. Douglas and Don Chesson
In lieu of flowers, donations to the First United Methodist Church Youth Group, 6109 Highway 311, Houma, LA 70360 are preferred.
She is buried at Garden of Memories Cemetery. (Chauvin)
