Junis Jean Billiot, 72, a native of Pointe-Aux-Chene, La. and resident of Waverly Hall, Georgia died Sunday, October 28, 2007, at 8:07 a.m.


He is survived by his two daughters, Kathleen Verner and Delilah Dardar; seven brothers, Whitney, Albert, Edward, and Edwin Dardar, Antoine and Edwin Billiot, and Joe Lefort; three sisters, Ana Mae Billiot, Enola Chaisson, and Emelda Rivet; six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Calrence and Loisie Fitch Billiot; four brothers, Joe Billiot, Herman, Nolan, and Gilbert Dardar; four sisters, Romona Ambrose, Julian Billiot, Albay LeBouef, and Arline Dardar; and one granddaughter.

Visitation is Friday, November 2, 2007, from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 3, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with the funeral to follow at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. He will be buried in Roger Cemetery.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
