Postal service woes could cost Morgan City facility

Junius Harris, 52, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Lafourche Parish, La., died Monday, Feb. 13, 2012.
Mr. Harris was Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Cherise Harris; sons, Mitch, Terrance (Janice), Steve (Melanie), Alonzo and Alton Harris and Jeremiah Williams; brothers, Creighton (Rochelle), Ronald (Gloria) and Wayne (Ann) Harris; sisters, Ida (Joseph) Cutno, Doris Smith and Yvonne (Byron) Lewis; 20 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Rosemary Harris; son Calvin Sharp; daughter, Dedra Harris; brothers, Alfred Jr. and Willie Harris; and sisters, Bernice Dyers, Marvin Harris and Gloria Parker.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 20, at Morning Star Baptist Church with services to follow. Burial will be at Blue Lily Cemetery. (Kennedy)
